Proudly privately owned, Atlantic Insurance has been providing Insurance solutions Australia Wide from our head office located in Melbourne, Victoria since the early 1980’s.

THE PREVIOUS GENERATIONS INVOLVED WITH ATLANTIC INSURANCE HAVE INSTILLED A LEVEL OF CLIENT SERVICE THAT’S BECOME THE BENCHMARK.

Our Journey

1981

In 1981 with a staff of three, Atlantic Insurance Brokers formed to provide advice and insurance solutions.
1986

Joined NIBA (National Insurance Brokers Association) and remain members today.
1993

Atlantic Insurance became involved with Aged Care Victoria (ACV) to provide education and develop insurance solutions unique to the industry and soon after registered the name Atlantic Aged Care Insurance Services. We continue to provide advice, guidance and bespoke insurance solutions for the aged care industry today.
1997

Atlantic Insurance joined Steadfast to gain access to exclusive policies and placement solutions for clients and also the opportunity to implement leading technology solutions into our business.
1998

Worked with the Victorian Government, Plumbing Industry Commission and insurers to develop and facilitate the placement of some of the first Victorian Plumbers Liability Policies. Some of Victoria’s largest plumbing businesses remain clients today.
2004

Formally attained an Australian Financial Services License. This underpins our autonomy and ensures our clients’ needs remain our principal focus.
2010

Formed Atlantic Financial Services to accommodate the life and risk insurance needs of an expanding client base.
2013

Remained a Network Broker following the public listing of Steadfast on the ASX. There is no external ownership of Atlantic Insurance, we continue to be proudly 100% privately owned today.
2017

As part of our succession, we welcomed a new director into the business. Atlantic’s two owners and directors share a client-centric approach and a focus on expansion whilst ensuring the high level of service continues.
2019

Moved into a larger more modern premises with a long-term view to provide staff with the environment they deserve and better facilities for clients.
2024

We have a dedicated team of Insurance professionals that continues to expand and we proudly service a diverse group of clientele Australiawide. Our business is built on relationships and this will continue to underpin our success well into the future.
